Smith Partners Wealth Management is delighted to announce the addition of Jordan Johnson to our team as an Associate Financial Planner and Operations Specialist. Jordan brings her 3+ years of experience as an Associate Financial Planner for a Fiduciary Fee-Only firm in College Station, Texas. Jordan will be based in Texas and will support our team and clients in financial planning and firm operations.
“I can’t believe we get to add Jordan to our team,” said Justin Smith, CFA, CFP, who discovered Jordan through his network of financial planning colleagues. “She is smart, enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated to serving clients as a fiduciary. We couldn’t have dreamed up a finer addition. Jonathan, Anne, Stephen, and I are beyond excited.”
Jordan graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in University Studies-Business, minoring in Financial Planning and Psychology. She has completed all of the experience and education requirements to sit for the CFP exam, which she is planning to take by this time next year (July 2023).
Jordan was drawn to financial planning after watching many of her friends and family struggle with money. “Financial planning allows people the freedom to focus on the rest of their lives outside of money, and that is a freedom I wish to give people,” Jordan says. “I knew I wanted to be in a helping field, and when I discovered financial planning after career counseling at Texas A&M, I knew that was where my heart was.”
Jordan is excited to join Smith Partners because she believes in the fiduciary duty and strives for excellence, which aligns with Smith Partners’ values. She cannot wait to serve clients in their financial planning and operation needs. “My goal in serving our clients is to make it an easy and streamlined experience,” said Jordan. “Letting our clients focus on life outside of finances is paramount for me. Let us do the heavy lifting so that you can enjoy life.”
Outside of work, Jordan enjoys spending time with family and friends, time outdoors with her dog, Beatrice, and date nights with her boyfriend, Charlie. “The relationships in my life are vital to me: friends, family, Charlie, and Beatrice. That is why I spend so much time trying to nurture and grow those relationships,” Jordan said. “My Papa was a relationship master. A personal goal of mine is to have deep, meaningful relationships just like him. He saw people as they were and met them where they were in life. He made people feel seen, appreciated and loved regardless of their history. I would love to do that for people.”
